Thanks Seize!
I am very happy with it. It makes you feel sort of like "very rich". Well..maybe because my last vehicle was VW Jetta![Uhh...](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/1387914497.gif)
I have quick question. In the maitanance screen, what are appropriate mileage distances or time intervals for different things to get chacked on: like brakes, pads, tires, etc. My current screen does not have anything, so I have to enter it myself. Just wanted to see what you guys did. Or maybe I can find it in owners manual? Have not went through it yet. It is huge like a bible, so that is going to take me sometime.
Any help would be much appreciated

Congrats on your new RX! Yours must have the updated firmware. We got ours couple of months ago. It still has the "Agree" screen. Regarding the rattling, I don't hear it from the dash, but I sometimes do hear from the cup holders (both front and back) when I have a cup in there! I think it happens to most cars when your driving matches the car's resonant frequency. When I got to a different road, the rattling was gone. Also, mine comes with Michelin 18" with the 7-spoke rims.
IMO, the ride is very quiet for an SUV. One thing I must warn you is the back door. Watch out when you park inside your garage. It opens quite high.

Your 2008 RX still has the v.6.1 Navigation disc. The latest version is v.7.1. which does not have the "I AGREE" startup.
Just curious, what was the build date of your RX and where was it built? You can find this info on the driver's side in the inner "B" pillar near the door latch striker. Top row of the black vin plate should tell you the plant it was manufactured at and the date of manufacture (MM/YY).

Can I ask you why are you inquiring. is there a difference between Japan and Canada build?

Ohh one last thing.
Today I went to Lexus Service department and asked them if the cars are waxed before they are delived to customer and he said that they are totally detailed, waxed, sealed and whatever. So anyone who is wondering if they should wax their new car, might want to check out with your dealership so you dont have to do it twice. They could have charged me $200 if they wanted to, but they said that they just did this car like 2 weeks ago, which is when I got it and they had a work order. So double check first...
Happy holidays to everyone
