Any noticeable difference in power when accelerating off zero or off a roll?

Any difference in MPG?

MPG dropped a little, definitely. I haven't tried a flat-out acceleration, but I think it picked up a little. That may also be because I reset the car. I don't really want to try it, to be honest, but for the sake of research, I'll consider it. Anybody know of any tracks in New York that I can access for this?

Depends what part of New York, I think most of the tracks are upstate, but very little nearby NYC area. They used to have one out on Long Island, but I don't think it is going anymore.

New Jersey is probably a better bet if you are by NYC.

Okay guys!
I was on the 287 headed towards New York today when I took my gas pedal to the floor for a second. I did this out of curiosity, because I noticed that on mid-range rev, the engine sound was quite pronounced, and wondered how the overdrive sounded. Needless to say, it was quite the roar. I would like to record this from the outside as I drive, but have no clue how (without just doing a drive-by). Suggestions?

The higher the pitch of the intake, the tougher it is to get the sound recorded. I have a particularly nice high note (sounds like a turbocharger under acceleration) that is actually from the exhaust, and it is noticeable from my open window), but attempts to capture it on audio have proved fruitless even on drive by. For the roar I think you are talking about I have found it best with an open driver's window coming to a banking left turn as such, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QvJzY1DB0tQ though you shouldn't be at 100 mph like I was or the sound can be much diminished.

It scared my little brother, too. You can see the camera shake on the first rev.

our SW intakes definitely shows some gains. Let me find out from the tech guys to see if we have some dyno sheets for the RX.
