According to the RainX label:

"DO NOT USE on scratch resistent or specially coated plastics unless pre-approved by the manufacturer of the plastic"

I would think this includes headlight and tailight lenses.

Oops! It's a good one! I better start reading fine print and stop using RainX on headlights.
