I drive way too many miles to lease vehicles therefore I only purchase my vehicles. Though I can see some benefits of leasing a vehicle if it was used as part of a business where the expenses can be written off. I think that most who lease vehicles is attracted by the typically lower monthly payments over a purchase which allow you to get "better" vehicle.

Leasing can be confusing. Because of money factors, you really don't know what your true interest rate is. It can be very profitable for the dealer.

But, if you can get a sub-vented lease from Lexus, I would grab it.

Again, if you lease, check the numbers very carefully. Dealers LOVE leases.

Leases = $$ for the dealer

A Subvented Lease is a car lease that’s subsidized (typically by the auto manufacturer) in order to get rid of a certain kind of car. Subvented leases can be exceptional deals, and they are often the only way that leasing may be cheaper than owning (unless you pay cash, in which case a well-negotiated car purchase will almost certainly be cheaper than any lease you could get.
