Yea, I tested the rain sensing wipers and they worked like a charm in the drizzle last night! The glass is very clear and seems to have no distortion so I am happy!

Our RX330 Windshield is also broken by rock chip, need to replace, but still giving the thought if we should go with Lexus ($1600) or outside glass ($350). I hope non-Lesus won't make much difference since our has rain sensor too.

Dinoman, there is a specific procedure related to the auto wipers when repalcing the windshield. Make sure your installer has contacted Lexus and knows exactly what to do. The procedure is very simple, and requires a small kit with a new "lens" and a sort of bedding compound. I've had the opportunity (yeah right!) to watch this being done a few times.

Dinomon...........You are not paying for the right price when you go to LEXUS, there is no Lexus glass replacement, sorry. From what I heard, use the recommended glass supplier by your insurance! Save money and Good luck.
