The color of my 2008 RX350 is Desert Sage. This was a new color for 2008 and I see from the Lexus website for 2009 that this color is no longer offered. Looks like we RX350 owners with Desert Sage will have an exclusive appearance!

Matador red is actually a gorgeous paint in person, some may not like it on the RX though ...

The Matador Red is nice on an ES350. I have seen an RX350 with the color...from a distance...so I can not really tell if I will like it or hate it. More on NOT liking it.

are you sure you've seen it? most likely it was the brandy wine color which is similar but darker. i say this because the 2009s just came out like a week ago.

The only reddish paint available for the ES350 is the Royal Ruby Metallic, a darker red. The only Lexus sedans you can get with Matador Red are the IS & the GS.

The 2008 RX400h offered the Matador Red. The local dealer has had a couple and I thought it looked great on the RX body.

How does the Royal Ruby compare to the Matador red? Which is color to blood?

The Matador Red is very bright red, what in the old days we might have called "Candy Apple Red". The Ruby is darker and approaches a maroon color.

i like the matador red. i just saw a desert sage rx350 the other day, first one ever.

The Desert Sage is so unique. I like to look at it, do not know if I will actually pick it. I am partial to Black and Silver.

I love my wife's Desert Sage! I was thinking about buying one for me early next year. I guess, I have to hurry up.
