IPod Interface kit

Remember that even though you are able to control the iPod through the touch screen, the Toyota system will blank out the screen while the car's moving. I always set the system to manual so anyone can control the iPod itself while moving.

Can anyone help me?
Hi! I have a 2009 RX 350 and a I phone 4 (previously had the Iphone 2). I purchased the Ipod interface kit from my dealer a while ago and I must be doing something wrong. When I plug in the Iphone and set it to ipod, it'll play songs but it will not show any of the information about the songs on the radio display, as it's supposed to, and it won't let me change the music (via song, artist, album, anything) from the ipod either.
I have followed the instructions that came with the manual and can't get it to work. Does anyone have any suggestions?
I do NOT have factory-installed satellite radio so that can't be the problem.
The antenna broke off my radio but that shouldn't be a problem. It was broken when I had the thing installed - in fact that was one of the reasons I bought the ipod interface.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks in advance!
