What are you paying per liter out there, as I am paying about $8.8 pesos per liter or a bit more than 88 cents US here for Premium?

I have been using premium fuel. It really doesn't matter... I only brought up the 15 MPG city driving because I had been getting around 17-18 MPG before with the same driving conditions.

US$5.26 per US gallon for standard unleaded.

The prices in the US are out of step with the rest of the world.

while yes i can agree that compared to the rest of the world the gas in the US is relavitely cheap. Nice though, how you compare it to gas in your country. i have no idea why it costs so much in whatever country you are in. To everyone who lives here in the US, gas is at a historic high right now. We also at least here in so cal, lack a good public transportation system which makes it necessary for us to drive our cars a lot. besides, if you are comparing why not compare to a country like venezuela or saudi arabia, where gas costs like 80 cents a gallon.people in those countries have it so lucky!

sure, gas is "cheap" in the U.S. but you cant expect us to not get angry as our gas prices catch up with you guys. not 5 years ago, gas was $1.40 for Premium. and now, its more than doubled.

high price is all that you know, so you cant complain

The U.S. (yes, it is us, you and me) is the biggest consumer of oil.

Who supplies the oil? Who is raking in $$? Hence the need to sell them ARMS....Arms for oil. Where do you use ARMS? War!

Ok, I am not a political guy...just stating stuff I read in the news.....

A one litre bottle of Coca Cola costs more than one litre of unleaded in my country (and probably the USA too). For carbonated water and lemon juice.

Think about it............

Almost the same price, 2 liter of Coca Cola, $1 and one liter of gas 68 cents. Now if you are talking about a liter milk, thats a different story.
