Default Where do I find the TV fuse?

So I finally got around to making my hybrid disk (I've gotten to the breaking point of not being able to have my fiancee use the nav while I'm driving on trips). I don't want to disconnect the negative battery terminal because I heard that will erase all of your presets and phone numbers and saved data. I heard that if you just disconnect the TV 7.5 fuse (whatever that is) then the firmware will reload but all of the data will be intact.

Can anyone verify if this is true, and if so, please direct me to where I can find this fuse in my '08 Lexus RX350? Thanks!

There is a group of fuses located in the engine bay. You need to open up the hood and it's on the upper right corner. Hope this helps.

you can also disconnect the main power plug on the back of the nav dvd reader. as you know, reader is located below the spare tire tool tray under the cargo floor. just a little pinch and the plug comes off the back of the reader. pulling the power plug is the same as disconnecting the battery as far as the dvd reader is concerned. since you are going to be in there anyway to put in your hybrid, should be easy.

hope your hybrid works. i wasn't able to get mine to operate. was successful with my older GS but not the RX

Nice, thanks to you both for the answer to my questions, and the tip about the main power plug. I think I'll try that instead.
