thanks everyone. I was not expecting BMW handling or cornering, just to improve it. Better steering and handling response and get rid of the boaty feel on the road, I would be happy if it felt like the 08 MDX not even FX35..

I was on the business trip on HK and I saw it. So, I bought it and ship it back to US. I was paying around $350/set at that time and it was Oct 2006.

There is another link to this kit too from Japan. Here is the link;

http://toyota.jp/harrier/dop/package/index.html

Good luck!

So were the pieces primed and then you had to get them painted and installed?
It looks so much better all the same color as the vehicle.

The kits came primed and ready for painting. However, I dried fit them first to make sure they fit before sending them to the paint shop.

That was a good idea How much did you pay to have them painted and installed? Do you know of any place you can order them in English for a similar price?
$350-$450.00 sounds like a pretty fair price to me.
I want to email them but I can't figure out which is the email... lol

I paid $600.00 for painting to match my RX. According to the body shop, it was tri-stages paint which I have no clue. It has something to do with the glitter inside the paint (Welcome to the world of Lexus).

Anyway, I have found a US website which has lot of these kits. You might want to call them up. Here is the link;

Good luck!

I'm totally with you on improving the handling of the RX just a bit with minor mods like bigger wheels, tires, springs, etc. Keep us updated on what you'll be doing. I also owned a BMW and sadly, I think I'm now spoiled on the pure handling aspect of driving a BMW. Unfortunately, there's a trade-off for everything. I want a reliable car with great interior that drives like a BMW... is that too much to ask?!

is the edge of your rim flush with the fender or is it in a little?
if you can take more pics or rear and the front i would GREATLY appreciated it.
i'm interested in getting 9.5" as well, i came from an X5 4.4 and had oem 9" front and 10", the stock 7" is way to skinner for my taste.
i wonder is 8.5 F and 9.5 R would work or 9.5 all the way around?? anyone knows??

i forget the rx offset but i think its mid30s. if the offset of the mmr wheels are +35 9.5R. you would need a 20-25mm spacer to clear strut/spring perch. for the front 8.5 or 9.5 you will have enough clearence from strut and it should be flush with fender.

The offset on stock is 35mm. I will tell you I put on 19x8 with a 40mm offset and I needed a 5mm spacer on the rear because it was rubbing on the inside of the tire which are 255x50's. CK6Speed has 20x8.5 with 255x50's and I think his are as wide or big as you can go without modifying it to fit. His looks very good but any wider at all would be to wide. I believe his offset was a +20mm. All offsets mentioned above are all +.
