motor trend and yahoo have the 2009 awd rx350 invoiced at $34,427. so, taking all the add-ons and options, which was about $5-6000 (nav + luxury package + wheel locks + some other small goodies), we still get around 41,xxx...? isn't that right? or am I just making stuff up to make myself feel better about the price we paid?...............c'mon!!! haha

There should be hold backs they gotta eat to right? I mean today with all the invoice info and trade in info we have at our finger tips they need hold backs and incentives to make a buck. Back in the day you didn't buy a car at invoice or near invoice but today you can. I sleep well knowing I got a good deal and most people who come on here do get a good deal because we are taking the proper steps by doing our home work. All in all do to everyones honesty and help we all can sleep good knowing we did ok. Did I get the best deal of anyone probably not ,did I get screwed probably not. Anyway I pick up my Lexi this am and I will be happy ridding in it.

Would love to see your RX .... WOW 15% that would look nice but we would get tickets for going that dark around here. I will be tinting mine very soon and putting on my 19" wheels and tires and lowering it a tad. I also will be tinting my rear tail lights . I will post pic's as I progress.

OK, here are some pic's... I am not impressed at all with the quality as they do it no justice. There is soooo much metallic flake in this paint when the sun hits it ,it just pops. I have to polish and detail it to today to.

i have a question...which part is the "polishing" part? i've always just handed waxed my cars...meg's black cleaner wax for my TL...the polishing is used via that soft cloth on a buffer AFTER you wash and dry???
the tint looks GREAT; no green at all!!! i'll post pictures over the weekend...kinda got caught up this past weekend...

The polish is kinda like sand paper with different grades of coarseness for heavy to mild sanding. This is what a polish is used for depending on the severity or correction of the paint you choose your degree of correction in your polish. This is a long hard task by hand and has much better results with a machine. In most cases you will need to machine twice ,once with a more aggressive polish to get out all those dings and scratches and a finer or a finishing polish to clear up all fine swirls and such. After this is done then you are free to choose your final protective topping.
I just polished my new RX 350 with 3 different polishes then added a glaze to help the metallic pop and then put a sealant over the top. That baby is as smooth as glass and just shining.

Not trying to hijack the tread but I bought my 2008 RX350 in mid February. I paid what Edmunds had listed as the True Market Price give or take $25. Another factor in my case is that in the State of Arkansas there is only one Lexus dealer so they can usually get what they offer. Do yall think I got screwed ?
