Well, after debating between the Hybrid and Non H...I got the 2009 Matador Red/ Blk leather RX350 for the wife....but did I get screwed on price?...from the looks of some of your posts, my dealer [Naperville Lexus] would not budge on MSRP, let alone invoice, only after some haggling he discounted $2500 of MSRP of $45,981...were your costs all pre TTL?..I also showed the Edmunds TMV/invoice $, and got told the advertising fee speech...invoice with my options came to about 40k.

My final OTD price was about 46k, almost fully loaded, [no RSE/SAt.radio] including clear bra [full pkg/doors/hood/bumpers.etc], TTL, all other fees.


Screwed or not...love the color...will posts pics later today.

i think you came out okay with the price. since you got a clear bra, and tax is a good 3K already

as for the door sills, orange is cool too

antenna can be pushed down if you bend it forward (towards the hood) before a car wash

my grandma almost bought one loaded w/o NAV for almost 509 a month 39 months.. the dealer said they based that off of 36g's for the car... they "discounted" it sooo much from 40k, but it was probably marked up so much more than necessary..

i suckered her into getting the new Infiniti EX35. wow, i fell in love. I may be getting one soon after i sell my rx300. beautiful car/suv thing haha.. crossover i think they call it.

LOL, I know what you mean but as long as you like the car and ultimately were ok paying that price, enjoy the car! You know how the size of the fish your neighbor catches gets bigger with the telling of the story? Well, I think some of the deals posted get better in the telling. Or they are special circumstance. I think $2500 off is a pretty standard fall back position for a dealer on 09s. Million things factor in to how far a dealer will budge beyond that.

I think you did fine just as I feel I did. That red looks sweet even in the dark we had it out last night and it looked sweet even under the street lights. I live in Ken. if you ever need it polished and sealed stop on by.
Most people think a new car doesn't need to be polished boy are they WRONG, now is the ultimate time to polish and seal that or any new vehicle. enjoy

Yes it sure does ,people see it my garage and say nice color but when they see it in the sun they say holy sh@t I didn't know it had all that metallic in it. Like I said it even looked sweet under a street light in the dark last night. I have no idea why Lexus had not offered a red since 2002. I hope they discontinue it next year to...LOL
