Anyone here used this stuff on their RX? Any pros and cons?

Any difference in power?

Thanks...

Not on our RX, but on my A4 .... had the oil analyzed shortly thereafter ... the comment from the analysis was, "BG-44 is strong stuff". The guy recommended not to use it unless there is a problem. I just run a bottle of Techron every 15K or so ..... YMMV.

I think you might be right...this stuff is strong. I just found out my local Lexus dealer carries the BG 44k. Now, if the dealer is selling it i'm sure is ok.

I guess no one in this forum has used it on their RX's?

It's about the best stuff on the market. Not sure if you really need it. I remember one of the Toyota dealerships in Mexico would sell it, but that gas was so bad there. Not sure why something like a bottle of Techron on half a tank or even Redline Fuel System Cleaner couldn't do the job there.

I've used the Redline S-1 Complete system cleaner but noticed no difference.

For most of you have been running U.S. fuel, you probably won't notice as much difference as I did when I was running Pemex in Mexico. The Redline definitely did the trick down there.

However, I'd probably personally have to drive your vehicle to really notice anything odd.

Hey everybody,I recieved my BG 44K on saturday, put 3/4 of it in my tank. And 1/4 of it in my wife`s car,(she only has 16,000 miles)So far, seems to be starting quicker, other than that ,not much difference yet. What can happen, using this stuff when not really needed? Can it do damage to anything?.It states on the can, catyletic converter, and sensor safe.I noticed that another member mentioned that his mechanic said not to use it unless their is a problem.Any feedback re; this?

If you are referring to my post from earlier, our RX showed an elevated iron count after using the BG-44K and the lab said the elevated iron was due to BG-44K. They said it was really strong and to use sparingly.

Well,I think I`ll top of with fuel, and try to dilute this stuff a little.Maybe I should have only added 1/2 a can.I`m still curious as to what damage it can cause. If any at all.
