Yea that seems like a good solution. I'm always **** about finger prints on the screen, but I'm always hesitant about using chemicals on the screen surface. So, I buy the screen protectant overlays. They are not too expensive. You can get pre-cut ones or buy bigger ones and cut out the shape you want.

i've found the overlays just as prone to fingerprints as the screen itself which isn't surprising I guess. seems like a good protection but not such an improvement for fingerprints. i've ordered this stuff and it just came today. will give it a whirl.

I use to use the microfiber cloth to clean my screen twice a week. After using this stuff, I now clean the screen once every 8 or 9 days. Leaves me more time to clean other parts of mt car

I bought a screen protector and it doesn't show the finger prints as much and stops the wear marks the nav screen gets from pushing in the same places a lot

I bought that same screen protector on ebay. Its almost impossible to put that on without air bubbles. Once it on there, you can tell its there and it doesnt resist fingerprints as well as the spary.

I just use "Klear Screen" a laptop and computer screen cleaner, protector. This product is a dedicated LCD & touch-screen display cleaner. Recommended by Apple, Sony & other electronic manufactures.

Yeah, I have tried the Klearscreen, it works pretty good too as far as preventing fingerfrints, but a bit expensive. The X-Clean is half of the price and produce a little better result.
