It has happened two times now in the last 3k miles put on the vehicle driving along with the AC on and hear sound of water running, and than it drips on the passenger seat floor. It is clear, non smelling water like condensation. My question is what could it be and where is it coming from? The glove box is not wet.. I know there is a filter system behind the glove box could that be the cause? This is a 2004 RX 330 with 40k miles on the ticker. Flint Mica with tan interior.
Thanks,
Bobby

If the cabin has high humidity, it would condense on the cooling part of the ac (behind the glove compartment). That part is normal. Now the condensed water should be draining out through a pipe.... you would see puddles forming on the garage floor. If the drain gets clogged then the chamber get full and the water drips inside the cabin.
Solution:
a) Get couple of yards of string from weed-whacker and thread it up the drain tube.
b) Buy 1 meter long heat-shrink tubing (dia smaller than the drain tube) and thread it up the drain pipe. Gently blow or suck through the other end of the heat-shrink tube.
c) Not recommended by me, but others have tried is blow compressed air or vacuum the drain tube. ... [if too much pressure then you may disconnect the hose.
d) More invasive is to open up the heat exchanger.
When done, remember to run heater at hot to help dry up the heat-exchanger.
You may like to do a search as this has been discussed in the past.

Sounds like the drain tube has a leak, or worse, the the A/c housing has a crack and allowing condensation water into the cabin.
Some Ford and Chevy parts counters will print out a diagram of assemblies. I don't know if Lexus will do the same.

It does leak down to the garage floor just noticed it backed up into the passenger floor as well at times. So how do I get to the drain tube to see if I can clear it? I searched but have not found anything. I noticed the AC cools perfectly but at times I feel like it spits out some humid air at random.
