Anyone replace the HID bulbs in the 350? If so, are they easy to replace? Does anyone know the temperature for the OEMs? It appears to be 4300 - 5000. Not quite bright enough for my liking.
Thanks

replacing bulbs should be easy.
temp of oem bulbs are 4,300k. do you mean you say the color is not to your liking? because 4.3k-5k has the best output to the ground. the higher kelvin you go the bluer or more purple you get but the output also decreases

4100-4300K are OEM and DOT approved. I heard 5000K is DOT approved as an OE replacement. Anything higher than that is NOT DOT approved and in fact give off less light output. If you want the brightest HID available, stick to the OEM specs. If you want less light output but want more of that color, then go 6000K at the most. Personally, I would stick to 4300K and go no higher than 5000K if you must.

I have 5000 HIDs (with clear lens) on another vehicle and it appears to illuminate the road much better than the OEMs on the 350. Most noticable when driving on cement and when its raining. I would have thought the projector lens would have intensified the beam.
