Default chemical smell from ac
I have a chemical smell coming from my ac unit ONLY after turning off unit and switching to fresh air. Definitely chemical, not that musty smell and only after I run ac and turn it off. They changed the evaporator, but didn't do anything for it. The loaner I'm driving, with 1600 miles has the same smell! Any ideas?

Can you try to decribe the smell? Chemical means, plastic smelling...bleach smelling....etc.....?

It smells like a bottle of glue--Elmer's--something like that.

I would get that checked out,who knows what your inhaling their.(that`s if they can duplicate the problem) we all know how that goes.
