i agree, soft cushion cant help much, My RX seats are comfortable but i was getting a little ache after 3-4 hrs of continuous driving. So i do need walking around of need readjust the way i am sitting. My friend's LS430 UL, saets are comfortable so much so that i feel sleepy-
If you can't sit in an RX for more than an hour, then either the seat or your *** needs an adjustment. I admit that it took some fiddling around with the seat settings when I first got it, but after a while I found a good setting and find the seats very comfortable, and have enjoyed trips of up to 8 hours. I think it's a very comfortable car for long drives.
PS: I think a foam pad would be counterproductive. You want a firm, supportive seat, adjusted to fit to your back. A foam cushion, I would think, would be less comfortable, and may be the reason for circulatory problems (although I am not a doctor (any more)).

I know what you mean re;the feel sleepy part if the seats are too comfortable.Back when I was in the army(early to mid 80`s) I had a 1983 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. You talk about a comfortable seat! it was like driving home on leave on a plush couch! And more than one time I found myself starting to get sleepy on any kind of long trip in that car.Very nice heavy automobile though. You could hit a deer in those cars and keep driving.
