Black or White...That is the question

WHITE because
1. wash a black car, go inside for a glass of water and it already looks dusty. You can almost throw mud on a white car before it shows. And, if you live in the snow belt, like I do, black looks grotesque with the salt stains after the road crews are done.
2. black is hotter (duh!) and takes longer to cool down during the initial power up during the summer.
3. get a chip on black paint and it shows white. Get a chip on white and you can hide a lot of it.
I own a black Acura Legend with black interior. Never again for a black car. They do look great and regal when clean but that lasts for the first 21 seconds. When looking for my new car, a BMW 3 series, I looked at the black ones because they do look great. But then reality stepped in and I remember my love/hate relationship with my black Acura.
In the end, it is your own preference and not the poll results. I gave the same above arguement to my son, who grew up driving the Acura and he bought his first car in black.

IMO, White w/ chrome wheels. Last 3 cars were dressed this way. 1 with aftermarket wheels, last 2 with factory chrome. Living in S. Fl white sure beats the heat. Also appears cleaner. I've owned black in the past and they appear "dirty" very fast. Not to forget the waxing and swirl marks. The white w/ chrome is very forgiving.

Today was the day that the wife and I needed to decide Black or White. Well...we arrived at the dealer this morning and drove home in an 09 RX350 that is Brandywine Mica with Ivory Interrior.
The Black was going to require to much upkeep and the one on the lot already had some swiril marks. The white just didn't look right in my opinion. So, we decided on the Brandywine Mica...Love the car and color already.
