yes my car is Bamboo Pearl (2007). I have not taken the guts out of the original mirrors yet. i will do that once i have all of the information that i need. i am hoping that it will be this weekend. i will post some pictures once i have it a part.

Can you also post a picture of what the other side (internal) of the signal mirror looks like. There is a shop in Berkeley,CA that is selling RX signal mirrors & I wanted to see the difference in the ones you bought. Thanks!

 

Ok the mirrors have been installed. Every thing looks good. It took about 2 hours for the first one and one hour and half for the 2nd one. Word of caution for people that are thinking about doing this it is not as easy as it looks. Couple of times I was intimated by the process and I have done this on my G35 before so I thought I know what I was getting into. I would have gladly paid some one $150 to do it for me. In other words if you can find someone to do it for you for couple of hundred $, let them do it.

I took about 30 pictures. I will start another thread with the pictures and the process for people that want to do it themself. Good luck

Thank you for taking the time to do the DIY Signal Mirrors. Did the mirrors came with instructions? I know you bought them in Japan, so maybe not or was in Japanese. Nice job though.

 

it did not come with any directions or paper work. i asked the shop where i bought these but they said that it does not come with any directions but if i take it to dealer they should be able to print me a set of it. i never did try that so i am not sure if they have any thing or not

 

There was somebody who purchased this set in Japan and it included the directions in Japanese. There was a note though that the driver's side needed modification. Nomi did not specify a mod and everything worked right.

 

these mirror did not need any moding. the shop that sold these to me asked me if i need these for the LH driver car or RH driven. they said that it made a difference due to mounting bolt locations. so if you get a set for LH driven car it should be good and will not need any changes.

 

Where did you purchase these from? Japan?

 

For those who are looking for Signal Mirrors at a reasonable price, I know of a seller that supplies signal mirrors to Lexus of Oakland & Fremont in CA. I checked out their mirrors and they are very nice. Right now the mirrors are selling at $179 + 15 ship & if can be painted for $79. That is the best price I've seen.
