If you are referring to a purple like sheen on the surface of the leather? That would probably be from the solvents/oils used in the conditioner. If it were me, I'd go over the leather with a dampened microfiber to see if that sheen is removed. Buff dry with another microfiber. It may be that excess conditioner was not wiped off.
