just wanted to see if anyone ran into this issue. Upon starting my car, the stereo's volume dims a bit, then jumps back on to the regular volume specified on the screen. This does not happen on the first start of the day. To reproduce the problem, I have to shut the car off, wait a few minutes and then the stereo will do what I'm talking about.

 

Maybe because the battery hasn't been fully recharged since driving the car recharges the battery. Just a guess. Have you looked into maybe getting a new battery or drive belts?

 

The my friend who works for Toyota has check the batter and voltage, everything is ok. I just hope the radio doesn't die on me one day...
