Paint Fume Odor

Paint Fume Odor
When it rains, I experience an odor best described as paint fumes that comes from the upper air vents during acceleration when both the fan and a/c are turned off. The odor actually makes me feel light-headed, and I am concerned that the fumes are unsafe for my daughter. The dealer has not been able to find any problems or locate the cause. Has anyone else experienced this odor and determined its source?

Wow,best described as paint fumes huh? Was it ever in an accident? still all of that would be dry by now.Could be some sort of bacteria growing in their.Although that usually just stinks.

if it makes you light headed, I can understand your concern. it's probably not safe for anybody. has the tech at least been able to smell the same thing if you take it in when it's raining? may be worth trying another dealer. pronto.
