Default HardWire Installation for V1 Radar Detector

Hello,
Did anyone have an experience installing Valentine 1 using moon-roof wires?
I wasn't able to find 12V wire from the plug.
There is only info about RX330 (It has a different wire-color).
Please, share your experience

I had no trouble installing my V1 wires. I can't recall the exact colors of the wire I used (ground is easy), but I simply used my meter to find a wire inside the light module above the rear view mirror. I always hot wire my V1 to a switched power line so I know that it is never on when I leave the car. There is a lot of room up there for the connections and the connecting box supplied by Valentine.
Access to the wires are easy enough; my recollection is that the front of the module is simply held in place by spring clips, and can just be pulled out.
Don't just hook the V1 up to a wire whose color is reported here; you have to test to be sure it's always hot or switched, as you prefer.
I've installed the V1 in many cars, and this was the easiest of them all. You should have no problems.
