Drivers side Window Seal in cold Weather
The last couple of nights I have noticed my drivers side window has a seal leak right by my ear. It is just starting to get cold again here and this is only the second winter I have had my RX. Once the car warms up, inside, the noise goes away and all is well. I didn't notice this last year so I was wondering, should I just chalk it up to being a cold weather reaction, which can't be fixed, or is it somthing I should get looked at?
Thanks,
Thanks,

I had an issue on my 04 RX that would have the window close too tightly which would distort the weatherstripping. If I would just tap the down button the window would seal better with no wind noise. There was a TSIB to fix this.

I believe I saw your, or someone with the same issue's, post on that. I did try the tap the window trick and it made no difference. The leak seems to be on the top left side of the window, looking at it from the drivers seat. So since it is on the side maybe it is a little diffderent. Thanks for the reply.

Driver's Side Window Noise
I have the same problem with my 06 RX350. Nobody seems to be able to hear it but me. I'm 6'3". My wife is 5'3" and she can't hear it and the dealer doesn't want to hear it.

I had this issue with my 05RX. I live in South Dakota and once the weather turned cold (usually below 20 F) I would notice a slight seal leak on the drivers side window. I took it to the dealer and they performed the TSB. It was better however it was never completely gone. I just learned to live with it and tapped the window down slightly to get rid of it. Interestingly I purchased a 09 RX350 in Sept. and we have had cool weather this past week and I noticed the same thing on the 09RX. Again, if I tap the window down slightly the seal leak seems to be gone. I must say I was surprised as I thought that Lexus would have fixed the issue from the early models to the late models (330-350). It makes me believe that this is an inherent issue with the design of the window seals on the RX330 and 350 models.

You guys are lucky. My dealer said that the noise was normal. A second dealer 600 miles away said his parts were out of stock and if I brought it back in a week he would do the TSB. Like I'm going on a 1200 mile trip.
Here's and experiment for ya, put a piece of tape along the lower edge of the door, over the drain holes. If it reduces the noise, fill all but the last hole with silicone. If there is no difference, just pull the tape.
