i have a 2006 rx 330 today it was about 28 degrees outside and when i put my auto heat for 75 degrees the ac button went on . i thought i read somewhere in the manual that under 32 the ac does not go on any suggestions thanks

I believe that when you are in Auto, the A/C light will glow if you don't turn off the A/C button independently, however the compressor itself will not run below about 32. As it warms outside, the compressor will come back on as needed, thus the light is alerting you that the compressor is enabled even though it may not be running.
