I have a minor problem that I am sure someone has experienced before. It will be a couple of months before my next service is due, so I thought I would try to get an answer here.
When I close my moon roof (or sun roof, if you prefer), using the rocker switch, it sort of recycles. It goes through the closed position and back to open. The only way I can be sure it is closed is to use the other switch to slide the glass back and then slide it forward. I don't normally even open the moon roof, so I must have hit the switch while cleaning the interior. Iwasn't aware that it was even partially open until I noticed excessive road noise and then, I got a beep every time I opened my door to get out of the car.
So, my question is, "how do I make the rocker switch stop the moon roof when it gets in the fully closed position, instead of continuing to cycle the glass panel?"

Our 330 did the same thing when we bought it. Every time the battery is disconnected, the moon roof needs to be recalibrated. The procedure is in the owners manual.

Similar problem on our 05, happened several times now. First few times was re-set by dealer, last time they took it all apart, used compressed air to blow out any debris that may have gotten into the swiches, cleaned and lubed the tracks, checked all the mechanism, and, knock on wood, it's been working just fine for the last 6 months. This is now noted on our vehicle history so should the roof start cycling again, I've been promised a complete replacement.
