My mom is looking to buy a 09 RX350. Options we would like are leather, 4wd, roof racks, HIDs, Navi, backup camera, etc.

What should we be looking to pay? We visited a local dealership today and they wanted 39k for one they had on the lot. I think that we can do better than that. What is everyone else paying?

Mark-up is about 10% and they have a $1000 coupon they can use.

If the sticker was around $45K, $39K is about right.

You can probably knock off another $1000 from that price, just tell the salesman the ugly re-designed 2010 RX will be out in a month

You should be able to do around mid-$37K-$38K (depending on your options)... I just purchased one in the Bay area for that price, my vehicle's MSRP is $45,250. It's an AWD, with Navigation/premium plus. Also, you can take advantage of the current low APR, I qualified for 0.9% for 36 months. You can PM me if you need the dealership/sales info.
