Will RX 400h tailights fit RX 330 ???
First... I hope I'm in the right thread...
I just noticed my brother's RX400h w/ different tailights...(it looks better) just wondering if it will fit my RX330. Anybody tried to swap it?? Will it require some minor mods or it is just "plug n play" including the wiring harness?
I wanted to try it but I dont want to break any panels. Any DIY to take out the trunk/back/side panels...? OR even to take out the tails would really help me and I would appreciate it.
Thanks,
Rahim

the 400h are LED's and they do look cool. I have a 2004 rx330 and i swapped them out. its not just a plug and fit. the 330 has conventional bulbs that just go into socket openings. the 400 has a circuit board for the leds. it will mean that you will need to do some splicing. access is done by removing the small panels that are near each tailihgt on the insoide of the trunk. then using a socket extension to loosen the nuts that hold the tailights to the frame. the lights themselves are identical in size and fit well. i had to do some expirimnetaion w/touching differnt wires to get the right combo to get the reverse, brake and light to work accordingly.

WIRING: any other wiring difficulties or it was just 2 wires (+) and (-) to play around?
Anybody else... pics would help ... Thanks in advance
