Changing license plate bulbs
Hello Guys, do you know how to change the bulbs placed over the license plate. It seems that the left one is gone in my RX 330, 2004.
Many thanks for such a collaborative community!

It seems to be alot of trouble though, so I would have LexServ do it. I have never attempted it either.
Consider LEDs?

It's simple. Why waste $ when you can do it yourself.
To change the license plate light, you remove the uncarpeted hatch cover. Start at one end (driver side preferred) & firmly pry open the cover. It seems like you will damage the cover but you won't; the cover is thick durable plastic. The hatch cover is held by 10 plastic tabs that pop out of holes, so you have to pry it open. Once you get one end of the tabs popped out of the holes (first 3-4 tabs) & can stick your hand into the cover, it become easier to remove the cover. With your hand in the cover just press down & the rest of the tabs will easily be out. But don't rip out the cover because the trunk light is still attach which you will have to disconnect (just disconnect the connectors). Once the cover is off, the plate lights are accessible.
