I have seen many discussion on this topic and oil analysis data, many have suggest that the high moly from the oil analysis is from the moly grease they use during assembly. I am not saying Toyota doesn’t use break in oil, all I am saying is that I have never seen a Toyota literature that states the use of break in oil and not to change it out early such as in Honda or other manufacturers.

I think you meant Silicon, as it is used in sealant when assembling the car in the factory. High Si is normal when you do an UOA for almost any new car.

A good back to back UOA of factory fill vs. after market oil of this Toyota Estima. The owner's second oil change with Castrol had the Moly in PPM decrease by 90%. In fact, most of that 99 PPM found in 2nd UOA is Moly left over from the initial fill since there is always close to a quart of oil that can not be drained off during oil changes.

If ingredient of the grease is slowly leaking into the system, the high dose should continue for several oil changes. For example, in the case of Si, roughly 1/3 of the Si showed up in the second UOA vs. the first UOA of the Estima. Had this owner do a third UOA on his oil change with another oil, I would expect the Si will remain the same level as the 2nd UOA but moly will drop to 10-20 ppm.
Castrol oil usually have 0 to 2 ppm in Moly in its most of its oils, you can go to BITOG and see the Virgin Oil Analysis reports posted.

I would never trust Toyota's public literature, they are for marketing and profit generation than anything else. Notice the owner of this Estima was told by the dealer that he must change the initial fill at 600 miles or his warranty is void. Plenty of examples like that just do not increase Toyota's credibility in my book.
