Anybody who has installed side markers on their RX? Since we do not have turn signals on our side mirrors?

There's quite a few choices on ebay...I like the clear ones with amber bulbs....

Personally - I'm afraid of cutting the metal.... can't go back if I don't like them.

I'm looking at turn signals side mirrors on ebay. This seller notes the difference between US and Japan versions where the bolt locations are different.

Sounds like they know what they are talking about and the mirrors look pretty good.

same here. I would never do that. First off, I don't trust myself to do a clean job but G2 nailed it. There is no going back. Wasn't there a DIY a while back on signal mirrors? I know there was on the GS forum, maybe that's what I remembered but was thinking somebody did the signal mirrors on an RX. I will try the search.

Yeah that was on the GS, and it looked sweet. I am tempted to buy one of those kits for the RX but too lazy and afraid to screw up my new car. Maybe my car mechanic can do it . not sure how much he will charge me though. $100 materials + $150 labor (probably) is not worth it.

I would come closer to doing this than drilling in the side markers at the top of this thread.

Looking at our RX, there's not really space to put in the side markers....signals on the side mirrors are the way to go, I am just pissed at the fact the the Harriers had them as standard! What's up with that?
