I regret buying this rx350
I purchased a 2009 Lexus RX350 3 weeks ago. I can't tell y'all how sorry I am for buying it. I like the car a lot but I was looking at the 2009 Nissan Murano and it was amazing. Not only am I mad about getting my 09 lexus, the fact that the 2010 is redesigned.... that made my blood boil. In my opinion, the 2010 are not as good looking as the 09 but its still all brand new technology. I am upset that the navigation system in my car is still updated by disks. What is up with that? Honda's navigation systems are all updated by SAT. We are driving Lexus's here...not Hondas... And your telling me Honda has better technology? Bull Crap.... Oh well... can't cry over spilled milk I guess...

There are always pros and cons of purchasing certain vehicle.
There has been discussion about the 010 RX here for a while. I hope you did read all about it. We have also had discussion about Nav systems.
I would say look at the bigger picture and if you still think it was a mistake, go get what you really wanted. Just weigh out the financial set back against the fun and enjoyment. No sense is just feeling bad, every time you look at your ride. It has been 3 weeks and some marriages have lasted lot less and costed lot more.

Can't speak for your '09 but we think ours is great. You really don't say what u don't like about it except for the NAV that is. I am sure there can be a thing or two about any vehicle one is happy with but overall our '09 RX is the best vehicle we have ever had so far no problems or things we are unhappy with.
Again, could u tell us more of what is so bad??

Sorry you're not happy but if you did your homework before buying the 09 350 then you wouldn't feel any regret. I bought my 09 a month ago and compared it with the 2010 (did not drive it as they weren't available yet at my dealer at the time of shopping), and the 09 came up as a better choice for me. One, I'm paying 10k less MSRP, two, I'm getting a final model year (all bugs sorted out over a long period of time), and three, I don't like how the exterior of the 2010 looks, yes the differences are subtle, but the lines on the 09 still flow better. Trade it in, no sense spending that much money and not being happy in the end.

He did his comparison shopping, y'all, and found the Murano to be "amazing," whatever that means, but bought the RX anyway. What we have here is a serious case of buyer's remorse.
It will pass.
(Or maybe he's not happy with the color; you don't think he got that poopy diaper tan color, do you?)

I feel bad for you, buyers remorse is bad, but when youve got remorse for something you spent $46K on, thats really bad.
Look at it this way, youre going to have it for a few years and then get rid of it. Its not the last car you'll ever own. It looks better than the 2010. And its a lexus...how bad off are you really? You'll get used to it and appreciate what the car does have.
We love our RX. Its super smooth. Tons of room. Plenty of power; and by the way, its faster than the 2010 to 60.

But yeah, it is faster, by I think 0,1 of a second.

Yeah something like 0.1 seconds. And I think we can all agree, we bought these cars for their racing and performance characteristicts.

If you want to shell out a few extra $$$, you can trade in your 2009 model for the 2010 model for only perhaps a few thousand dollars. (Since equally equipped 2010 packages cost more than the 2009 model).
I am in the same situation as you. But I do not have any regret. I got a great deal off the sticker price, 8K to be exact, and love the smooth ride. I barely use Navigation so what's the use of updating?
