Just found a hidden service menu in my 09 Pebble Beach Edition
Guys, I just found a secret service menu on my new 09 PBE. This might be just the old news but really cool. Just surfing the internet and happen to read the info on another vehicle. Tried on my and it works. I can display the speed sensor from GPS and compare to the speedometer and turned out mine was reading about 7-8% faster. Last time I usd the community speed sensor and it said mine was about 10% faster. I can display both in KPH and MPH. I brought mine to the dealer last month to calibrate the speedometer but they tested out and said it was OK. Planned to buy handheld GPS to bring to them next time.
I can't find the NAV override option. There is option for bluetooth that you can raise the mic level. Be back in a minute. The wife is calling...

Sorry! Just back.
To get to it: Turn key to Ignition, hold the INFO button and turn on/off the headlights 4 times. That's it. Enjoy hacking

You need to hold the INFO on the NAV screen while doing the on/off on the light. You can also start the engine instead of at ON position and it works as well. That's what I use to measure my speedometer

Still not clear. What is "the light". Does this mean "the lights"?, as in headlights - notice the plural - really helps with correct grammar. The light is nondescript. The lights, one could deduce, is the headlights.

This works on our '08 RX as well. I didnt fool with any of the settings, but its cool to know its there.
And also you can get to the menu by just turning the parking lights on and off four times (while holding info and having the ignition in ON).

I changed the bluetooth mic volume a little higher since the other end didn't hear me as well. I changed from a default of 0 to 3 (max is 5). Now I tested with that and it's a lot louder on the other end of the call.

I have a Pebble Beach and it worked for me. I turned the ignition on and before the nav screen came up I held down the INFO button. I turned my headlights off and on four times and the screen popped up. I actually turned the light switch all the way down and then all the way up. In other words, I turned it in both directions until I could not turn it anymore. Remember to hold the INFO button down throughout the whole sequence. Hope this helps.

lol you really think the GPS is more accurate than the spedo?! ahahahahahahahaha wow. GPS is wrong. its off by 5-15 meters thats just how it is. unless you have a military unit then you will always be off by 5-15 meters.
