Default Moonroof wind diverter rattle

We have an '04 RX330 and it has an almost chronic rattle in the metal diverter that pops up when it is open. It rattles even when the moonroof is closed.

Any suggestions on how I can stop this?
Thanks

My '06 has started doing the same thing. I can put a finger up there and stop
it but it resumes right away when I stop holding it. I hope someone responds with
an answer because it sure gets annoying. I haven't checked with the dealer or
anyone else yet.

Our '07 RX 350 has the same problem. Have either of you found a resolution?

I think I have a similar rattle on my sunroof. I got it fixed under warranty but the tech just insulated the track of the sunroof. I think there is a TSB for it so just use the search button on this forum.

Rule of Thumb (for lack of a better description), if RX is under warranty, take it in, do not be lazy. Get information on how to describe the problem, but the best thing to do is get the dealer to fix the issue. Then everybody's happy. You are satisfied and the dealer had their chance of fixing the issue and the repair goes to the database for Lexus to evaluate.

+1 And even if you are out of warranty and have a great relationship with your dealer, they'll take care of it.
