I have a 2009 RX350 with 2500 miles on it. Recently I noticed that after I park it, it leaves a pool of water underneath on the floor. Is this something I should be alarmed about?

I too suspect that its from the air conditioning. But that's a lot of water! Isn't the loss of that much water harmful?

 

It isn't a concern at all. The water comes from the air, not some reservoir in your car. Look up condensation on wikipedia.

 

You will have much more condensation on your garage floor if you always drive with the A/C on recirculated "inside air".

 

If it's plain water it's normal A/C condensation. If it's yellow or orange and smells sweet it's antifreeze, not normal.

 

Make sure there is water under the car when you run the AC I bought a 2007 Per Certified RX 350 and a few days later discovered that there was water under all the carpeting Front and Back They had to tear the whole inside out. I am meeting with the CEO next week I am Pissed
