How does the 2004 RX330 monitor tire pressure?

I definitley have HID with what I am told is auto leveling, everytime I turn on the head lamps and see the lights go up, down and then level out, but I don't think I have AFS because I don't have the swtich under the steering column or off to the left by the power lift gate switch and the fuel door. I have the auto sensing wipers, head lamp washers which I was told included the AFS, but I don't think I have AFS since no switch.... What do you think. Funny thing is the MSRP was $45,200+ back in 04, you would think it had most options?

interesting...sounds like you should have it. but if you are saying that the headlights just go down then up when you start it, then you dont have it.
If you did, the headlights would move down then to the side, then back up.

Tire Pressure Moniters
Thanks for enlightening me, Now my question is , does my 2003 SC430 have tire pressure monitors or are they installed in the hubs. I notice with that car the icon lights up if the car has been sitting for awhile in colder weather (less than 40) and goes out after been driven for several miles. However, my Lexus dealer charged me $200.00 a couple of years ago to replace one monitor.. At the time they told me all four monitors were weak .and one was completely shot. I decided at that time to replace only the one.

The symptom you described means that your tire pressure is set incorrectly. They have to be at 32 PSI. Some people go as high as 35 psi. Keep it at 33 psi and periodically check them. You will not see your TPMS go and off.
A lot of us Sc owners have disabled the TPMS. However we are always making sure the tires are running at the right pressure and we carry tire repair for flats. Some have a spare, majority of us do not.
Good luck.
