Is my 2008 RX 350 a gen 5 system? I read this forum a lot, but this is my first post. I think that the information from all of you is invaluable. Thanks. Dave

I was going to say it's Lexus-Toyota Generation 5 U38 13.1 North America is the latest CD for 2014.
The CD will actually say U38 on it.
To find out your existing version, hit the menu button under the navigation screen and in the upper right corner you'll see DVD info, and that screen will tell you which version of the DVD that's loaded into the system.
Beware, there's plenty of people selling the bootleg version of the DVD. From Craig's list to Ebay. I've seen it going anywhere from $17 to $60. I've even seen a website that it gives you instructions on how to download it and burn it. Just be careful.

i changed mine a few weeks ago. Got the U38 disc from ebay for $20. It's a burned copy but it works. No longer need to press "i agree" every day.
It's also a software update as well as the interface is slightly different.
