Default Alenza's..still trying to get 4 for 3!

I am STILL trying to get 4 Alenza tires for the price of 3. It's an odd situation. The dealer referenced on another thread in Texas will ship them to me, but I have to pay both the 8.25% Texas sales tax AND shipping to here in Pittsburgh. Kinda negates the sale. But to the guy's credit he checked with his regional manager who said that he is positive that the sale is national. The local Firestone guys insist that the sale excludes H/L tires (Alenza).

If I had a coupon from ANYWHERE showing the Alenza on sale I would have some leverage. If ANY of you can find this I would be VERY appreciative. I actually don't need the tires yet, but the tires put on my CPO RX are not great and won't last long (some Continental tire...I forget the model). So I'd like to get the buy 3 get 1 free Alenzas without installation and keep 'em for 6 months to a year THEN install them

I f you don't neeb em for a year whats the rush...They go on sale all the time..Seems to me a while back there was a even better deal people were talking about on this forum...The coupon I used did say All Dueler H/T tire lines...So I don't know why they gave me the H/L's ...I could have bought them here in Austin at the same firestone store with out a coupon for 761.00....So no big deal....

Default Murphy's Law

It's Murphy's Law. When you need it, it's never around When my piece o Crap RS-A was nearing it's life in the middle of winter a few years back, the Alenza (New at the time) on tirerack was sold out (let alone good sale prices). So I ended up having to use another brand which worked out good anyway.

Banjo, there is no real hurry. But if I can get them at the 4 for 3 price, I'll do it for the very reason mentioned above....not exactly sure when I'll need 'em and don't wanna pay the "need it right now" juice or not be able to get them. I'll keep after it.[/QUOTE]

Default sale

I got the ad in the mail yesterday, it says buy 3 get 1 free for Dueler H/T lines for highway driving and A/T 695 or RHS for all terrain vehicles. There is no coupon required. The sale runs until June 30th.The fine print says in-store installation required. I hope that helps.

Yeah, I have the coupon too. But that effectively excludes Alenzas. Alenzas are H/L tires.
