Default Bad rear strut on 09 RX
Just found out today after my first oil change that my rear right strut is leaking oil. I saw a pool of oil on the garage floor and mentioned it them. I was a bit surprised that this part is bad already, so was the maintenance rep. Anyone else had this problem??

Welcome to the Club.

I had this happen on my RX300, but that was my own damn fault when I lived in Mexico City and eventually I replaced out all the shocks.

Any part for any car can have a manufacturing defect, you unfortunately discovered one on your 2009. Glad it was a warranty repair because struts are expensive to replace especially at a Lexus dealer.
