The following was taken from the site posted above. Nice find!! I see that 1NICE430 posted some of the text, but I had to post everything as it is a hoot.

'Using your windshield solarise fill in is at present as easygoing as pulling the drapes unsympathetic. The spring-loaded, Sun Shade easy pulls from and retracts to your vehicle's windshield posts in seconds. It's made from lightweight metalized polyester material and provides upper limit solar shelter so it reduces hot up buildup in your auto's upcountry. No more than sounding slow the sit beneficial to and warfare by with the help of old-style fold-up solarise invisible world of the ancients. Visit our stack away during a size chart.'

I couldn't have said it better myself!! I haven't visited their stack away yet..

Sorry for taking so long. Here are the pics. I've been very satisfied with these.

Hard to tell from the pics, but there is a nice cutout for the mirror.

Just a little bit, but I'm used to it. My 350Z TT has a bunch of gauges on the pillar so I've learned to live with it. If it bothers you that much, you can remove the shade in a couple seconds.

I got mine from the dealer as well. It rolls but I store it in the cargo area when I drive so its not a problem. It is made for the RX so it is a perfect fit. When i owned a mercedes, I had an accordian custom fit sun shade that worked perfect as well. The material felt like cardboard. i had it as long as I had the car (like 10 years) and never replaced it. The one I bought for my RX has a lifetime warranty as well...like I said I bought it from the dealer and am happy with it.

I guess it is a personal choice. Myself, I would rather deal with a portable sunshade rather than an accordion type. Leaving the front windshield free and clear, that's all.

Looks really nice. I however agree with mandyfig and wouldn't want anything in the window. The portable ones aren't really that much of an issue to put up and take down.

The accordion ones are a neat idea though..

Thanks for posting the pics, voodoo.
Even though the RX windshield is very large, I'm concerned about the Eclipse chewing up more space than I would like. It looks like the stand-off is about an inch and the device itself is about an inch wide - true?

And you better get your oil changed - it was due the 11th.

Do you have pics of the screen you purchased from the dealer - or can you provide the link to a site that has them? My googling hasn't turned up anything
