Think of changing the stock steering wheel. Can a third generation RX steering wheel fit a second generation RX?

Please clarify your question. 2009 RX is 2nd generation, 2010 is 3rd. Which year steering wheel and car are you asking about?

the fit is one thing (probably yes)... the compatibility is another. youd have to see if you would still be able to retain all of the functions of the various buttons, and i doubt that since Im assuming the audio and cruise control features will be different.

Can not be interchanged. Connectors are all different design.

Feel that the 2nd Gen RX steering is a bit dated. Anyway just toying with the idea. Thanks for the info guys.
