Default 2007 rx350

Hello, I currently have the option of either getting a Bamboo Pearl or the Breakwater Blue 07 RX 350's. I haven't decided which color yet, but I have a question about mods. Neither of them have Nav. Systems or HID Headlamps. So I know I want to get those...Would you get the OEM Nav. System or go aftermarket?

Also, could you post some images of Rims that look nice on the RX. My options only have the 6 spoke alloys.

They look like this:

Also, I hate the Vertical looking grille. I see people talking here about "TC Grille" what exactly is it, and could you link me to one?

Which color would you get?

Thanks

I would go with the bamboo...personally, I think it is a really cool color and one that you would not tire of. Can't help you with the mods...I have only been an RX ower for 2 days!

6 spoke 17" alloys are the standard. Get the 5 spoke 18's. NAV, go with portable. If you try to get the OEM NAV, too expensive. Or else get aftermarket...lots of posts here. Good luck.

I'd go with the Breakwater Blue.

Go aftermarket NAV, and you can add HID without much hassle. I'm not sure though if the non-HID headlamps are projectors. If they are, then no problem adding HID. If they're not, you may run into glaring issues because the beam it not projected properly. If this is the case, I'd look into some replacement headlamps on Ebay that have the projectors in them (I see them for sale for under $500 for the pair).

Very Nice! I like the "artistic flair" of the hood shot with the reflection of the clouds...good job!

I wouldn't purchase one without factory HID. The base el-cheapo old-skool halogen are terrible and no, they are reflector, not projector. You could add an aftermarket kit, but the beam pattern would be wrong and they won't be active (move into a turn). The kit could also set off a 'bulb out' light. If you are buying used, there is really no reason to cheap out and get a halogen RX. I'd bet over half of all RX330/350's built were factory HID.

I have to agree with the post above. Factory HID's are the way to go and I wouldn't waste money on an aftermarket kit for a Lexus. Driving with them is very nice and in my opinion, safer than not having them.
As for the NAV, if you can live without it, it's no big deal.

Good luck in your quest..

veleno, where do you see the RX projector kit for less than $ 500 ? I like to know too, I bought an extra set used and repair on ebay for $600 and your < $500 kit comes with hid 4300k bulb and OE ballast ? You know factory brand spanking new hid headlights cost almost $1300.

RMB350, you can't just plug and play the RX hid kit into a non hid RX, the AFS would not work and if you really want to add hid, you might want to consider lens change, cos the factory hid projector are not sharp at all. Something to think about, I'm switching mine out with s2K projectors a much sharper, I did see some have tsx lens swapped out on the stock rx projector

I own an 08 RX350 no nav (I use Garmin) and an 08 GS350 w/ nav. I like Garmin by far better then the Lexus navigation. It is so much user-friendlier and more intuitive!

As far as the HID, they are so much beter then the halogen. However, if you just fall in LOVE with one of these cars, don't loose it just because ni HIDs. The aftermarket kit (under $150) is not as good as the OEM HIDS, but still by far better the OEM halogens.

The color...... You will have to decide on this one yourself.

On ebay, type in: Lexus rx350

I just saw a couple singles that had very good prices.
