Can you mix Type T-IV and WS tranny fluid?

How is the WS priced versus the T-IV?

X2. Absolutely not! So, based on the confirmations I've got from a few guys now a question to the OP. If you saw red/pinkish fluid leaking and the service tech at the dealership said the leak was from the transfer case, does that mean that someone put ATF into your transfer case? I am just curious...

WS, Worldwide Standard, right?

Yup, you are right, "world standard," I meant...where the heck did I get worldwide...??

Back home in ND now and got a chance to really look at what the service tech listed on the repair list. States the transfer bearing retainer is leaking and replaced the transfer case. Also states 4 qts of ATF T-IV were added. All under warranty. Had a 2009 RX350 loaner, all black. Really not much difference that I noticed between my 2005 and the 2009 other than the NAV screen being much better resolution than mine and the chrome handles on the outside of the doors.
On a side note, I have the Bridgestone Dueler Alenza's which were put on the RX at 32K, I had 54K on it at the time the transfer case was replaced and also had them do the oil change and tire rotation. Service tech noted that it looked like I had fairly new tires. The mechanic listed all 4 tires at 9/32 tread depth remaining. So with 22K on the tires I have to say they are giving me very good wear and would recommend them to any RX owner. May not be for everyone but it's a good tire for those who need winter traction on snow and ice and still have good tread life.
2005 RX330 Thundercloud, Thundercloud Mist, Gray/Black interior with black birdseye maple trim, NAV, ML, HID with AFS, rain sensing wipers, headlight washers, tow package with OEM hitch, Bridgestone Dueler Alenza on 18 Thundercloud rims.
