Here you go, there are a bunch of choices there

running board

Personally I won't do it, cos the RX is not that high and I've seen some of the RX 330, 350 with the running board, it don't look right

Thanks for the link mowmow. The only reason I need the running boards is that I just installed a ski rack and I don't want to step in the interior of the vehicle to get to them....I can imagine all the snow/dirt getting in the interior. Anybody have running boards installed in their RX?

Every time you get out of the car in a wet weather, your pant leg will get dirty, because you will place your foot on the ground. My brother had them on his Pathfinder, he got rid of them because of that.

If you get a bodyshop to paint the running board to match your car, it won't cost that much more to have the bodyshop to professionally install instead of tackling the project by yourself.

The ATS Steps come painted from the factory. You just order the color you want. I would have like to have gotten lighted ones. But they didnt have any for the RX.

I had my steps put on a the local Toyota dealer. It was 250 dolars. So I figure it took 3 or 4 hours. I just droped off the car in the morning. And came back before they closed.

I like them. I think they look nice. And make the car look different. They only time I use them is when I am wiping the car down.

KeysRX300, then won't the running board be off color in comparison with the body color ?
are there any power retractable running board out there for the RX ?

I was on ATS Designs and also noticed they have unpainted and painted. Mowwow, where did you get your running boards from? Did you get it directly from them?

Didn't buy running board cos I don't need it but I not a fan of painted parts cos there is always a difference with fresh paint vs weathered paint, it's not the manufacturer's fault, I'm just super picky when it comes to auto color, I'm fortunate to have a couple of buddies that own body shops that can help me color match.

PS is MOWMOW not MOWWOW

I bought the ATS running boards from someone from this forum and it's black. Since my car is Flint Mica and I'm not sure if the black color would look ok with the flint mica.... I just don't want to have the running boards repainted due to cost. What do you guys think of the color combo? I might want to sell my ATS running boards (black) together with the bracket hardware.

yea paint does get expensive if you take it to any bodyshop to do it, average cost is around $200.
