Default PS 2007 to 2009 RX350/RX400h Navigation and DVD Override Module is now available

I've received an e-mail from Prestigious Society announcing that they completed testing for the 2007 - 2009 RX350/400h. As of now, they are taking pre-orders for the production version. The ETA for shipment is the middle of September.

(scroll to bottom of page)

I think I'll order one.

Hey, i was the first one that Mark from prestigious society tested the kit for. Let me tell you all, the Kit works GREAT. I am in love with my Rx 350 Navigation and system. I have the Mark Levinson system and everything fully work! From playing Movies to calling while in motion.

Mark is a great guy with the best Customer service support! You guys will be happy with his unit.

Default chaper way?

I have a 2004 RX330 and since I don't have bluetooth all I need is to turn off the lock out for the nav while I drive.

There got to be a cheaper way! $250 is too much.

Can't you use the Upper Left, Lower Left, UL, LL, combination on the Volume Settings screen to override the lockout? You do it one time and it accesses the service menu where you can override the nav lockout until you turn off the ignition.

$250 is overpriced for the by-pass ... I rather do the hidden menu way as well.

With this new device,

Is the override always active - or - do you need to press a button on the display like the Lockpick?

If you need to press a button (or switch) does the car loose it's location?

Thanks,

I agree other than I don't think the hidden menu trick still works with newer map dvds. Comes down to a choice of the finger dance on an old map dvd or a kit to allow unlock on newer dvds. Hate that 'safety' feature.

I've had good experiences with PS in the past too and Mark in particular. definitely going to look into this.

The Hidden menu. UP, down, up, ect. doesnt work on the generation or the rx 2007 and above!

If you think $250 is alot, then there is an option of cutting all your wires and rewired them and cross your fingers and hope that work.

Remember, there is another option. The Lockpick 3 Basic for $99. will allow you to enter destinations while moving and press the 'OK' button for you (though this isn't necessary anymore).

On your PS Nav override. Does it come with any type of external hook up? Like an iPod cable. Or does it come with just video inputs?

the PS nav overide will unlock the phone and the audio system and the Gps so you can enter your destination while in motion.

I bought from Mark a Vais tech for the Iphone/ipod hook up. The ipod menu will go on to your monitor.

From what i Read, the "LOCK PICK 3" only work with Rx without the Mark levinson and rear entertainment system. the Ps Modules work with either units.
