Lug Nut Adapter
I just bought a new 04' RX330 and I couldn't find the special adapter for the wheel lug nut. Where is this adapter located? I went thru the manual but could not find it anywhere? Or do I have to buy it separately from Lexus dealer?
Thanks.
Thanks.

It is not a Lexus thing, but an accessory sold/puchased typically at the time of purchase.
Typically it can be found in the tool patch. At tme of purchase, the key was zip tied to the lug wrench.

Are you talking about the wheel lock adapter?

If the key lock-lug-nut was purchased at Lexus, it will most probably be a Mc Guard product. Dealer provided me with a key code, to help purchase a replacement. That key code may still be with Lexus, so check with them.
Also it has reported that the service dept at Lexus has all the keys and they can match it up and can give you the code to reorder. [Based on the postings here], it seems that ppl prefer going without a key lock and purchase 4 reg nuts. Since the service dept has all the keys, they should be able to remove them once and for all ... that is if you want to go that way.

we get that at work everyday, people loosing there lock key.If lost a mcguard code should be in the original owners manual.Call them up and they can send u a new key. Most of the time are customers buy four regular nuts and have are service department spin the locks off.
