I just did what you did Kiwi. I ordered the blizzak tires from Tire Rack that you purchased and will just swap my rims back and forth between Summer and Winter Tires. I'm not in an auto club so it will cost me about $80 everytime I do this, but this will only happen twice a year and $160 cdn is the price of 1 rim. I don't plan on keeping the car for more than 4-5 years so less up front cost for me is better.

they arent on my rig yet, i will put them on the second week of november, but as far as sitting in my garage, they do look quite good, not disappointed yet.

Driver School Candidate
Just purchased and installed a set of Bridestone Blizzak DMV1. DMV1's are this years model. Rocking tire!!!!! Haven't had a lot of use on them yet, Alberta hasn't had much snow but been pretty good so far.
