Default Looking for a RX350 ML Factory Radio

Hi All,

As the title says I am looking for the Factory radio from a 2007-2009 RX350. I have read most of the posts in this 2nd gen forum and I've seen a few people who have talked about already swapping their factory radio, for aftermarket setups w/ headrest screens and the like. I was hoping one of them, still had the factory radio that I can pick-up from them?

I'm looking for the radio from a system equipped with the Mark Levinson audio system.

I'm new to the Club Lexus form, but not new to forums and I must say that I do like to co-operative spirit on this form, especially when I read some of the obvious noob questions posted. There is far less flaming here than on some of the tuner forums I've been a part of and people are very helpful in their replies.

I'm looking forward to coming back regularly and contributing myself........but as I'm a new RX owner. I guess I should learn a little more about my ride first!!

Regards,
J

I can't find one in the junkyards in my given area or even a decent distance away. There aren't that many crashed RX's here.

Is there no one on the forum that has one available?

sickntired, I don't know the Toyota part number, no. I will see if I can find it in the next few days. All I know right now is that most of them were built by Pioneer and they have P1502 marked on casette door face.

Hey mowmow. I'm assuming that's a completely different forum? Do you have the link to that forum? I'll try him/her.....

Thanks,
J

Does any know if the ML DVD changer from a 2007-2009 RX will work in a 2004 RX that has the ML CD changer?

Aren't all of the other components in the system different on the ML radio? I wouldn't think you could just plug and play, the plugs are likely different, as are the speakers and the amplifier

But I have ML in my 2004 RX. I am just hoping the ML system in the 07-09 RXs use the same amp and have the same connections. I just want the DVD changer that the 07-09 RXs w/ML have. My wife's 04 RX w/ML has a CD changer.

So the question remains -- does anyone know if the DVD changer from 07-09 RXs will work in a 04 RX? Again, this is in RXs with ML system.

Ok So after scouring the internet I think have the part number. I actually have two and I think the only difference between the two are the button configurations on the stereo itself.

The parts numbers are as a follows

86120-0E110 GSU3*..NAP; PIONEER, ID=AP6867
86120-0E120 GSU3*..NAP; PIONEER, ID=AP1506

I am pretty sure the one I need is the second one...... I was hoping someone can confirm that here on the board.

Thanks,
J

Does any one know the exact difference between the AP6867 or AP1506?

Can someone with a 2007-2009 RX 350 with ML check and see what it says on the cassette door plate of your stereo? I believe it's on the lower right hand side of the little cassette door plate.

Thanks!

If you go to this website, based on cost alone, it seems that it should be either AP1502 or AP1506 since I would expect the ML systems to be the most expensive.
