Default need help with used RX purchase for my mom

She currently has an '05 MDX Touring and the lease is up in a few months. She had her heart set on the new 2010 RX, but finances dictate otherwise. So plan B is a pre-owned Gen 2 RX. She liked the '09 RXh loaner I had a few months back. She said it road "heavy" and felt very solid. Yet she had test-driven a new RX330 back when they were new and felt it didn't seem heavy or solid (hence the MDX move). So she is thinking there might be something about the hybrid model that feels different than the gas version (I know it's heavier with the hybrid equipment, can it simply just be that?). Since she wants a near new vehicle, the choices are an '08-09 350 or maybe the '08-09 hybrid if we can afford it. My dad and I both want to keep the cost down and see her in the 350.
So, the question is, is there really a big difference in how they ride? I am talking mostly about the handling, motions over bumps, and that feeling of solidity and heaviness (as she put it). I am not talking about acceleration. Maybe those who have driven all three versions can comment on how each drive and which one might meet her needs most.
And yes, we'll test drive everything closer to the date, but for now just wanted to get a head start on the research.
Much thanks.

I never noticed a difference when I test drove each vehicle. To save money, I would get the 08 350, great deals on them currently on Ebay. Good Luck!

Let her test drive and make the determination.
